The Kindles have an integrated browser. Although it is pretty basic, it can be quite handy. The best way to browse a website is using the mobile version of it. Many websites have versions that are especially formatted for mobile access. They will usually have m. or mobile. in the URL
The easiest way to check if a website has a mobile version is to Google it. For example, if you Google “mobile Los Angeles Times” you will see
mobile.latimes.com/
If you google “mobile Answers website” you wil get
www.mobile-answers.com/
And so on

The Kindle DX ereader comes with a basic web browser. You can use this browser to download PDFs directly to your kindle installing a small tool. With this you can download PDFs by simply clicking on a link to a PDF file.
So… how do you do it?
- Download this file
- Put this installer .bin file at the root of your kindle DX
- Update kindle from menu -> settings
If you want to remove this trick then:
- Download this other file
- Put the uninstaller .bin file at the root of your Kindle DX ereader
- Update your kindle.
